2. Data collected
We collect the following categories of data: GPS location data (only when the app is in use and with explicit user consent); anonymous usage data to improve the app (e.g. sections visited, navigation preferences); technical device data (operating system, app version). No account registration is required to use the app.
3. Purpose of processing
Your data is processed to: provide and improve Surra Maps services; enable GPS navigation and offline functionality; analyse usage anonymously to optimise the experience. We do not carry out commercial profiling or sell data to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on: explicit user consent for GPS location; legitimate interest for anonymous technical data necessary for the service to function.
5. Data retention
Anonymous technical data is retained for a maximum of 12 months. Location data is not retained beyond the active usage session.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with trusted technical providers (hosting, anonymous analytics) strictly necessary for the service, bound by confidentiality agreements. We may disclose data to competent authorities if legally required.
7. Your rights

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss or disclosure: encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), securely hashed passwords, access limited to authorized personnel, periodic security reviews.
