Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of all personal data associated with your Surra Maps account.

How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data in two ways: directly in the app at Settings > Account > Delete Account; by sending an email to privacy@surramaps.org with the subject "Data deletion request" and your account email address.

What is deleted

Upon request, the following will be deleted: all profile data (name, email, preferences); uploaded content (photos, reports, comments); in-app activity history; downloaded maps associated with the account.

What is not immediately deleted

For legal obligations, some data may be retained for a limited period: transaction data for tax obligations (up to 10 years); anonymized system logs for security (up to 12 months). This data does not allow user identification once anonymized.

Processing times

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt. You will receive an email confirmation once the procedure is complete.
