Privacy requests and data deletion
SURRA Maps does not require a mandatory account. If you want to exercise your rights regarding usage data, you can contact us.
1. No mandatory account
At launch the app does not require registration and does not create a mandatory personal profile. As a result, there is no in-app account deletion flow because the service is used without a personal account.
2. How to submit a privacy request
For requests for access, objection, restriction or deletion, write to support@surramaps.org with the subject "SURRA Maps privacy request". To help us identify useful data for verification, include platform, app version and approximate period of use when possible.
3. What we may delete or limit
We assess requests concerning first-party analytics data that can reasonably be associated with the information provided. Because these analytics use a local anonymous or pseudonymous identifier rather than a named account, in some cases it may not be technically possible to attribute every event with certainty to a single person.
4. How to stop new submissions
If you want to stop generating new usage data, you can uninstall the app. This also removes from the device the local file storing the anonymous identifier; a new installation generates a new identifier.
5. Response times
We handle privacy requests within the timeframes required by applicable law and, as a rule, within 30 days of receipt.
